Welcome to our project showcase featuring a branding and packaging refresh, recently completed for MO – a local juice company committed to providing healthy and delicious beverages to its customers. Our team was excited to partner with MO to help them through the process of refreshing their brand identity and packaging. We are pretty excited to share our process and results with you.
Project Outline
MO was formerly known as Mill Orchard New Zealand Juice Company (yep that’s a mouthful, of words, not juice!) Because of the long complex brand name, they had been feeling frustrated with customers using a different name every-time. It was time to simplify, time to rebrand and rename to something much more simple – MO!
The next problem to tackle was the the out of date packing on the kids juice range. Throughout the project, we worked closely with MO to research and understand the target audience for the juice.

Project Outcome
In addition to developing a strong brand identity, we also created some refreshed packaging designs that were both eye-catching and practical. We developed a range of packaging sizes, from kids juice bottles to family-sized bottles, all of the new packaging included some custom illustrations and bold typography.
We are thrilled with the final results of our work with MO… and we know they are too! The brand’s refreshed visual identity and new packaging has resulted in a strengthened brand presence on store shelves bringing an increased sell through rate in supermarkets of over 200%! Now thats what we like to hear!
